Shirley Kyhl, 88, of Billings, passed away peacefully Feb. 1, 2018 at the home of her daughter. She was born in Glendive Oct. 20, 1929 to
Stanley and Marie Ellingson and grew up in Laurel.
She married Arlen Kyhl and they had five children, Bernie, Ron, Kim, Lana, and Leslie. Shirley worked various jobs over the years, but her main job was taking care of her family, including many cats and dogs. She was a wonderful piano player of boogie-woogie music, her favorite being Steel Guitar Rag.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Ken, and two great grandchildren.
Shirley is survived by children, Bernie(Kathy), Ron(Diana), Kim, Lana Iverson, Leslie(Randy), 16 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, sister Linda(Dan) Koch, and many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and a private family memorial will be held at a later date.
