Cell phones, iPods and laptops are the tools and toys of daily life.
Like our car keys, some of us carry them everywhere. And, like our car keys, we panic when they go missing in action.
Do you have a real-life tale of how your phone or some other electronic gadget went missing for days, only to reappear in the most unlikely place after a marathon search? Or how it tumbled off a cliff, drowned in the lake, got flattened by a semi? Or how it went missing and stayed missing, plunging your home life or work life into chaos?
Tell us the harrowing or amusing details.
We’ll publish some of the best entries in The Billings Gazette and online. The top letter-writer will receive $50, and two second-place finishers will each receive $25.
To enter, send a letter of no more than one typewritten page, double-spaced.
