On April 17 from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., the American Cancer Society Climb to Conquer Cancer of Red Lodge will officially be underway. Event volunteers and participants will gather at the First Interstate Bank, 602 N. Broadway Ave. in Red Lodge, to launch their fundraising efforts for the year and talk about how local cancer survivors and caregivers have benefited from the funds raised at the Climb to Conquer Cancer of Red Lodge.

The kickoff will feature food, fundraisers and will honor cancer survivors and caregivers. This also will be the first opportunity to register a team and submit a team logo for the event on Aug. 2 starting 8:30 a.m. at the Red Lodge Mountain Resort.

Sign up and help the Climb to Conquer Cancer of Red Lodge to finish the fight against cancer.

The Climb to Conquer Cancer mobilizes communities to celebrate people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and provide participants with an opportunity to fight back against the disease. The Climb to Conquer Cancer brings together friends, families, businesses, hospitals, schools, faith-based groups — people from all walks of life. The Climb is aimed at furthering the vision of the American Cancer Society to create a world with less cancer and more birthdays.
