Country couture and chic urbane highlight the 21st annual Fall Parade of Homes, presented by the Home Builders Association (HBA) of Billings. The annual home tour begins next Saturday, showcasing custom homes built by area builders.
Six top-of-the-line homes are on the tour this year, including homes from Buscher Development, Classic Design Homes, Image Builders and three homes from Kenmark Construction Corporation. Builders will be using the next week to put the finishing touches on the featured homes, which are located throughout Billings, Laurel and Lockwood.
The HBA considers the Fall Parade of Homes a must for anyone looking to build or buy a new home - the Parade is also inspiring for anyone looking for the latest home design trends.
These homes offer tranquil settings that are designed to bring the family together, from the open floor plans that allow for conversing from room to room to spacious family rooms complete with home media systems.
All of the homes offer something unique for the would-be buyer or redecorator to glean. Custom design, unique water features, elaborate patios, theatre rooms, stylish master suites, serene, picturesque settings and more top off the tour. Spend an afternoon losing yourself in the artful design and craftsmanship.
The Fall Parade of Homes takes place Saturday, Sept. 18 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday, Sept. 19 from noon to 5 p.m.; Friday, Sept. 24 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday, Sept. 25 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday, Sept. 26 from noon to 5 p.m.
A tour map will be published Sunday, Sept. 19 in the Billings Gazette Your Home section. Maps are also located in the Parade booklets, available at each home and online at the HBA's website: www.hbabillings.net.
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at any of the Parade Homes locations or at the Fall Home Improvement Show (One Source Lighting booth) at the MetraPark Expo Center on Sept. 10-12.
