Lady is a black-and-tan MinPin dachshund available for available for adoption at Help for Homeless Pets. The small sweetie is 3 to 4 years old and great with children and other dogs; however, she should be in a home without cats, which she loves to chase. She would make a good hiking or jogging buddy. Lady is spayed, microchipped and current on vaccinations.
A rabbit and cats and dogs of many sizes and ages, including a similar MinPin, are also available for adoption.
To adopt Lady for $125, contact Help for Homeless Pets at 2910 Hannon Road, or call 896-1700. Hours are 1 to 6 p.m. daily.
The shelter needs donations of Purina Kitten Chow (dry cat food in a yellow bag), towels, sheets, blankets, bleach, laundry soap, shredded paper, canned dog and cat food (preferably solid), and 13- and 33-gallon trash bags. New volunteers are always welcome and can choose to help with a variety of tasks in many areas.
