Tammy is a 2-year-old, chestnut brown Manchester terrier available for adoption at Help for Homeless Pets. This small, energetic pup would make a great hiking or jogging partner and terrific family pet. Her former owner was allergic and could not keep her. She loves other dogs, but would do best as an only pet. She has been spayed and microchipped; her vaccinations are current.
Also awaiting “forever homes” are some of Tammy’s friends, including other young adult dogs, puppies, felines of all ages, a rabbit and a Guinea pig with cage.
To adopt Tammy for $125, contact Help for Homeless Pets at 2910 Hannon Road, or call 896-1700. Hours are 1 to 6 p.m. daily.
The shelter needs shredded paper, dry and canned cat food, dry dog food, cat and dog toys, wood stove pellets, clay or sand cat litter, bleach and laundry soap. New volunteers are always welcome and can choose to help with a variety of tasks in many areas.
