The Bighorn National Forest has added four campgrounds to the National Recreation Reservation System for the 2014 camping season.
Campers can now reserve their favorite campsites at Doyle Creek, Island Park, Leigh Creek and Porcupine campgrounds.
Twenty-one of the Forest Service campgrounds in the Bighorns are now on the reservation system.
Ten to 20 percent of sites in each campground are set aside for first-come, first-serve camping.
Nightly fees for campsites generally cost between $14 and $18 per night, depending on the level of services provided.
Campground sites can be reserved starting six months, and generally up to four days, before the planned arrival date. Campground reservations can be made through www.recreation.gov or by phoning 877-444-6777.
