The Montana Territory Peacemakers will be holding their monthly match at the Billings Rod and Gun Club on Saturday.

Gates will open at 8 a.m. with registration open until 8:30 a.m. A required safety meeting with posse assignments starts at 8:45 a.m., and to help beat the summer heat the match will start at 9 a.m. Participants should plan to use 49 rounds rifle, 50 rounds pistol and 17-plus rounds shotgun.

The public is welcome to watch. After the match, several cowboys will introduce those interested to the sport. Eye and ear protection is required.

For more information about the group, visit www.montanaterritorypeacemakers.org or call William M. “Grizzly Bill” Ball at 252-4157.
