Fish and Wildlife Commissioner Dan Vermilion and Region 3 wildlife manager Howard Burt will discuss brucellosis and elk at a Wednesday meeting of the Region 3 Citizens’ Advisory Committee in Bozeman.

The meeting starts at 12:30 p.m. in the FWP Regional Office. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.

The elk-brucellosis issue is the subject of a lawsuit filed last week by sportsmen's groups objecting to FWP's plans drawn up for the Paradise Valley.

Also on the agenda is a presentation on wildlife habitat by research scientist Richard Keigley. Additionally, there will be updates on several statewide issues and responses to questions provided by committee members.

For more information about the committee, visit the FWP website at http://fwp.mt.gov/regions/r3/cac/.
