Six fly-fishing classes for beginners will be offered by angling instructor Gayle Whittenberg this spring, private lessons are also available.

The classes are scheduled for April 26 or June 14 on the MSUB campus; May 10 or June 7 at East Rosebud Fly and Tackle; May 17 at Stillwater Anglers (women only); and July 12 on the Stillwater River. The May 17 class can also be combined with the on-river class for a flat fee.

The class fee varies from $100-$375 and each course is limited to 10 students. Participants will spend six hours in the classroom and outdoors learning how to cast, find wild fish, select the right fly, tie knots and catch and release fish. Equipment is available upon request.
