Fort Peck campground to close on Sept. 2

The West End Campground at Fort Peck Reservoir will close for the season on Sept. 2.

The reservation season for the Downstream Campground will close on Sept. 5. The Downstream Campground will remain open on a first-come, first-served basis until Oct. 23, weather permitting.

The Interpretive Center remains open on its summer schedule, open daily from 9 a.m.–5 p.m., through Sept. 30. Powerhouse tour times will change beginning on Labor Day to 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. through the end of September.

October hours for the Interpretive Center will be: open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday–Sunday. Beginning Oct. 1, powerhouse tours will be available by advance appointment only.
