Chris Kwasney and Kane Mury of Circle won the annual Tough Guy walleye fishing tournament on Fort Peck Reservoir last weekend.

The duo recorded five fish at 103.75 inches. Clyde and Brem Phipps took second with five fish measuring 101.25 inches.

Thirty-four teams participated in the event, but only 11 took the five-fish limit. Most fish were averaging 18 inches with Kwasney and Mury's largest fish a 30.5-incher. Bill and Willie Green of Circle caught the second-largest fish, a 26.5-incher that wasn't recorded.

The largest northern pike caught during the event was a 42.5-inch fish hoisted in by the team of Taylor Kennedy and Tyler Trogden of Miles City. There were also unconfirmed reports of a 19-inch smallmouth bass being caught.

The other top five finishers were: 3) Jason Watts, Kevin Oglesby — 93 inches; 4) Chuck Patterson, Steve Grom — 90.5 inches; 5) Pat Slater, Mark Nuss — 89.75 inches.
