The popular Bozeman Creek/Sourdough Canyon Trail will be closed temporarily to all users from 6 a.m. Wednesday to 6 p.m. Thursday.

The closure runs from the trailhead parking lot to Mystic Lake Cabin and will allow gravel to be hauled in for road repairs.

“Several large slides are being repaired along with the replacement of the bridge at mile marker 5,” said Wendi Urie, Bozeman Ranger District recreation program manager. "The culmination of the project will provide all recreationists with a quality trail system for use year-round and will also allow for access by the city of Bozeman, maintenance of Mystic Lake Cabin and improved winter grooming opportunities, in partnership with Bridger Ski Foundation."
