Cameron Sapp, a 2012 graduate of Rocky Mountain College with degrees in environmental science and environmental management and policy, has been hired to operate the Montana Wilderness Association's new Billings field office.

The office is located at 3318 3rd Ave. N. Suite 204. It is MWA’s sixth field office. Others are located in Bozeman, Great Falls, Choteau, Missoula and Kalispell, as well as a main office in Helena.

Sapp, a lifelong Billings-area resident, will be advocating for the protection of more than 700,000 acres of wildlands in Eastern Montana. He will also be working to engage students in MWA's Prairie Wildlands Campaign, which works to identify and protect thousands of acres of public lands in Eastern Montana with outstanding wilderness values.

Sapp can be reached at 406-702-1138 or email
