Sporting clays classes offered for teens

Blue Creek Sports Shooting Complex and the National Scholastic Clays Target Program are bringing in world-class shooter Mike Taylor on May 3 and 4 to instruct interested youngsters ages 12-19.

The two-day shotgun training session will focus on competitive sporting clays and is open to all teens.

Registration will begin at 8 a.m. on May 3 with classes until 5 p.m. On May 4 classes will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lunch is provided on both days. A $30 registration fee will cover the cost of lunch and clay targets.

Participants will need to have eye and hearing protection, as well as a shotgun and shells. One case (10 boxes) of shells will cover the weekend sessions. Shells and guns can be provided upon request by calling the club.

For more information or to register, contact Cheryl at info@bluecreeksport.com or phone 670-1183.
