Mallard’s Rest fishing access site on the Yellowstone River, south of Livingston, should reopen by the second week of April after repairs to the interior roadway, latrines, boat ramp and several campsites are completed.

The site was closed in mid-December after an ice jam flooded the site and pushed massive blocks of ice into the area.

Additionally, Ennis FAS on the Madison River remains closed from ice-related flooding. However, on Monday FWP was able to reopen nearby Valley Garden FAS on the Madison River.
