A man faces six felonies stemming from a drug arrest three years ago during which he arranged to sell an undercover agent five pounds of marijuana, charges allege.

Jake Wayne Kissell, born in December 1993, made his initial appearance in Yellowstone County Justice Court on Thursday. He faces five counts of criminal drug distribution and a single count of drug distribution by accountability, all felonies. Justice of the Peace David Carter released him on his own recognizance.

Kissell sold marijuana to an undercover agent from the Division of Criminal Investigation on five occasions in April and May of 2014, according to charges. Agents arrested Kissell during the sixth arranged buy.

The quantities of pot increased from one sale to the next, charges state. Kissell sold the agent a pound of pot on May 21, 2014, and two weeks later arranged to sell him five pounds.
