CODY — A pre-trial hearing has been scheduled for a man charged with murder in the death of his sister's boyfriend whose body was found decapitated in northern Wyoming last year.
Pedro Garcia is set to appear in Park County District Court Nov. 12. He has pleaded not guilty to premeditated murder and felony aiding and abetting in the killing of 30-year-old Juan Antonio Guerra-Torres.
Authorities found the headless body of Guerra-Torres in January 2014. His left arm and right hand were also removed.
Garcia's sister, Sandra Garcia, and John Marquez are also facing charges in connection with his death. They have pleaded not guilty for their role in the killing.
