Two women denied charges related to the robberies of three Billings businesses in April.

Meadow Lee Big Horn, 35, and Heather Joy Thompson, 40, pleaded not guilty to all charges during hearings in Yellowstone County District Court on Wednesday.

Big Horn, who is accused as the robber, was charged with three counts of robbery with a weapons enhancement.

Thompson is suspected as the getaway driver and was charged with three counts of robbery by accountability with a weapons enhancement. In a separate case, she's also charged with two counts of felony assault on a peace officer and misdemeanor resisting arrest.

The pair are accused of robbing the Barrel Room Pub and Casino on April 25, a West End Lucky Lil's on April 26 and the Western Executive Inn on April 27.

One witness described Big Horn's weapon as a "steel pipe with electrical tape wrapped around it," according to charging documents. She reportedly held it like a gun.

Police arrested the women on the day of the third robbery, and the women admitted to their roles in the heists, charges state.

While "briefly unattended" at the police station, Thompson walked out and escaped custody for about a day, charges state. During the second arrest, she allegedly kicked an officer twice.

Bond was set at $100,000 for both women.
