It would seem to be only a matter of time until Chronic Wasting Disease shows up in the wild deer and elk herds of Montana. Until then, Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks continues to look for CWD and to test for brucellosis as well.

It was a rather odd press release from Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks last week. It said that four roads would be closed near Lima for public-safety reasons due to a big herd of elk that was crossing the roads on their way to feed each day.
