Two programs are planned at First Peoples Buffalo Jump State Park on Saturday.

At 11 a.m., a Montana State Parks ranger will lead a guided hike along the park's 3.5 mile interpretive trail. The hike will provide information about the jump's history, geology, plants, animals and more. The hike begins and ends park's visitor center and includes a trip to the top of the jump. Bring water and snacks for the hike.

At 2 p.m., Park Interpreter Don Fish, Blackfeet, will give a program which will expand on the Blackfeet culture and how the tribe used the park's famous Buffalo Jump. Also learn how Blackfeet religious traditions were used in preparation for harvesting buffalo in the days before the horse came to Montana.

Call 866-2217 for more information. First Peoples Buffalo Jump State Park, 3.5 miles north of Ulm from I-15, Exit 270
