Registration is being accepted for the Camp-Mak-A-Dream walleye benefit, which is set for 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Aug. 6, at the Silos at Canyon Ferry Reservoir.

One-hundred entries will be allowed in the family friendly tournament that benefits Camp-Mak-A-Dream, a medically supervised cost-free camp for children, young adults and families affected by cancer.

Entry cost is $60 per boat with $50 going to Camp-Mak-A-Dream and $10 to Canyon Ferry habitat.

For more information, call tournament director Peggy Lawver 406-855-8432 or Carol Henckel 406-633-2598 or email cmadbenefit.bigsky outdoors.net

The event is continuing in honor of the late Mark Henckel, past Gazette outdoor editor, who was instrumental in starting the event. It is sponsored by Pikemasters and Walleyes Forever of Billings.
