The Billings Parks and Recreation Department and Montana State University Billings’ outdoor adventure leadership program will hold the fifth annual Refresh the Rims event Saturday.

The largest organized cleanup of the Rims will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 11:30 a.m. Volunteers will meet at the Billings Community and Senior Center, 360 N. 23rd St., to check in between 9 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.

Following check-in, teams will fan out to the top and bottom of the Rims to clean up the trails and the parkland.

To date, more than 140 people have pre-registered for the event. This year, new sites have been added to expand the areas impacted by the cleanup.
