Two Republicans are vying to challenge Yellowstone County Commissioner Robyn Driscoll, a Democrat, in the fall election.

Mike Black and Don Jones will face each other in the June primary election. Jones is a former state legislator. Black is a civil engineer for the Yellowstone County Public Works Department.

This is the first county commission election for Driscoll, who was appointed to replace Bill Kennedy in 2016. Driscoll previously served in the state Senate, representing South Billings.

There are two candidates challenging for County Auditor Scott Turner, a Republican. Republican Matt Rich and Democrat Becky Riedl have filed as candidates.
