After a series of days above 90 degrees, temperatures will hover in the 80s early in the week giving Billings residents a break from the heat before hot weather returns.
Forecasts from the National Weather Service don't call for another day above 90 until Thursday.
The NWS expects sunny skies and highs near near 88 Sunday. Six to 10 mph winds out of the west southwest will become north northeast by afternoon.
Skies will be mostly clear overnight and lows will fall to 58. Winds 7 to 13 mph should continue out of the northeast.
Sunny skies are expected Monday as highs top out at 81. East winds 7 to 11 mph are expected.
A 20 percent chance for showers and thunderstorms is expected after midnight Monday. Skies will be partly cloudy, as lows near 56.
