Authorities are seeking an offender who walked away from Alpha House pre-release center in Billings early Friday.

Alternatives Inc. and the Montana Department of Corrections are seeking the arrest of Bradley Johnson, 26, of Lewistown, who left the prerelease center a few minutes after midnight on Friday, the agencies said in a news release.

Johnson has been placed on escape status, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest. The Alpha House is located at 104 N. 31st St.

Johnson is 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighs 160 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes. He is Native American.

Johnson was sentenced in 2010 to three years in prison from Fergus County and arrived at Alpha House on Oct. 5. He was last seen wearing a black and white striped shirt with multi-color pajama bottoms.

The DOC is requesting help in locating Johnson and advised the public not to approach him, but to report information about his whereabouts to law enforcement.

Johnson is the second Alpha House walkaway reported in two days. Donald Stemple, 76, was placed on escape status after leaving Alpha House at about 7:40 a.m. Thursday.
