A Billings man is in intensive care after a Saturday morning rollover wreck near Laurel.
Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Justin Moran said an older-model passenger car was eastbound on Laurel Airport Road at about 12:30 a.m. when it failed to make a 90-degree northbound curve at the intersection with 64th Street West.
The car left the right side of the road at the intersection and rolled 1-1/2 times, Moran said. A 30-year-old man who was in the car was ejected and was taken by helicopter to St. Vincent Healthcare, where he remained in the intensive care unit as of 9 p.m. Saturday, Moran said. His condition was not available.
A woman in her early 30s who was also in the car did not appear to be injured, Moran said.
Neither occupant was wearing a seat belt and their names have not yet been released. Speed is suspected as a factor in the crash and no citations were issued Saturday.
It wasn’t immediately clear who was driving the car, Moran said, and the rollover remains under investigation.
