Grand Casino robbery suspect

The suspect in a Grand Casino robbery is shown entering the business on October 29. Police believe he robbed an employee at gunpoint before leaving on foot.

A security camera photo from the Grand Casino was released Thursday afternoon in an effort by the Billings Police Department to get help from the public identifying a person they believe robbed the business at gunpoint in late October.

The suspect entered casino at 3025 Grand Ave. at about 11:26 a.m. on Oct. 29, according to the press release written by BPD Lt. Neil Lawrence.

After entering, the suspect "brandished a handgun, and demanded money from an employee." The suspect left westbound down Grand Avenue on foot after he was given "an undisclosed amount of cash," by the employee.

The suspect is described as male, white and 5 feet 6 inches tall. He was wearing a black zip-up windbreaker, blue jeans, gray tennis shoes, gray gloves, and a gray scarf or bandanna over his face, according to the release.
