A Billings woman has died from injuries she sustained in a Monday morning crash on Montana Avenue.
Catarina Packard, 21, died Tuesday night from blunt force trauma, according to Yellowstone County Deputy Coroner Cliff Mahoney.
Her Honda Civic appeared to have struck a concrete flower planter along the side of Montana Avenue's 2900 block early Monday morning, Billings police said. Her car then collided with three unoccupied vehicles on the north side of the road, according to the Montana Highway Patrol report.
No other people were involved in the wreck. Speed and alcohol were both suspected as factors in the crash, according to the MHP report.
Packard was transported to St. Vincent Healthcare after a passerby found her not breathing and unconscious at the scene of the crash, according to a Billings Police Department press release.
