A wind chill advisory remains in effect for portions of central, south central and southeast Montana until noon Saturday, says the National Weather Service.
Expect wind chills from 15 below zero to 35 below. Some of the worst conditions early Saturday have been in Miles City and Baker, where wind chills of 30 to 40 below zero have been reported.
In Billings, Saturday will be sunny, with a high near 21 and wind chill values as low as minus 25. Winds will be west southwest of 11 to 13 mph.
Skies will be partly cloudy Saturday night, with a low around 8, wind chill values as low as minus 10 and southwest wind 15 to 21 mph.
On Sunday, look for increasing clouds, with a high near 22 and wind chill values as low as minus 10. West southwest wind 8 to 18 mph will become east northeast in the morning.
On Sunday night, snow is likely, mainly after 11 p.m. Skies will be cloudy, with a low around 1 and wind chill values as low as minus 15, with northeast wind of 10 to 15 mph. The chance of precipitation is 70 percent, with new snow accumulation of around an inch possible.
