Chuck Sloan, 37, was the overall winner in the triathlon at the Big Sky State Games on Sunday morning, finishing in 1:14.51 to win gold.
Amanda Hunter, 23, was the first female to finish with a time of 1:19.17.
Seventy-one athletes completed the event solo. The event began with an 800-meter swim in Lake Elmo, then went to 16 miles by bike, followed by a three-mile run.
There also were team categories, a duathlon and a youth triathlon.
The youth course featured 150-meter swim, a 2-mile bike course and an 800-meter run.
Colter Barnett, 10, won the youth triathlon in 12:43.
The first female in the youth division was Helena Brown, 10, with a time of 14:34.
