A 57-year-old Billings man accused of causing a drunken-driving crash on Main Street was charged Friday in Yellowstone County Justice Court.
Rodney Duane Huggler appeared in court by video from the county jail on a felony DUI charge.
Bond was set at $4,000. Prosecutors said Huggler has four prior DUI convictions in Pennsylvania, New York and Wyoming between 1979 and 1994.
Huggler also has a 1989 conviction for manslaughter in Wyoming, but it was unclear Friday if that case involved impaired driving, prosecutors said.
Huggler was arrested Thursday after officers were called to the scene of a two-vehicle collision on Main Street at about 2:48 p.m.
Police said Huggler caused the crash when he attempted to cross six lanes of traffic. No injuries were reported.
Huggler showed signs of intoxication and refused to provide a breath sample, court records state. A warrant was issued to draw his blood, and a sample was taken for testing at the state crime lab.
