Billings police officers have arrested a suspect in connection with two robberies that happened early  on Dec. 4 in the King Avenue/South Billings Boulevard area. 

Officers on Friday arrested Joshua Boyd Harris, 25, on suspicion of armed robbery and tampering with evidence, according to a post on the Billings Police Facebook page.

The robberies took place just after 4 a.m. on Dec. 4 about 30 minutes apart at the Holiday Station at 790 S. Billings Blvd. and the Town Pump at 3150 King Ave. W.

In both cases, a man entered the store, selected merchandise and then showed a handgun. He then took cash and fled.

Police released a surveillance image from one of the robberies on Tuesday.
