A man pleaded guilty Thursday to felony robbery, admitting he went into a casino, threatened people and then stole cash from a register.

According to charging documents, Jacob Willis Ray Foos was wearing a mask when he went into Bugz’s Bar and Casino on Main Street at about 1:30 a.m. on Nov. 10, 2011, and grabbed about $1,800 in cash from a register after yelling at everyone in the room to stay still.

Witnesses told police the robber sped away in a green van onto Bench Boulevard. An officer reported seeing the van on Bench while responding to the casino.

Foos received traffic citations several days earlier while driving the same van, which court documents indicate belonged to his girlfriend.

With a warrant, police searched the van and found money, gloves, a mask and a wallet with Foos’ identification inside.

Police also matched DNA from the mask to a sample provided by Foos, court records say.

Foos is scheduled to be sentenced Sept. 30.
