A man accused of charging items on a credit card stolen from his employer admitted charges on Friday in state district court in Billings.
Christopher Michael Duncan, 40, pleaded guilty to felony theft by embezzlement for making $1,777 in unauthorized charges on his employer’s credit card in October.
In a pending case, Duncan also is facing felony assault charges accusing him of choking his estranged wife outside of a Billings bar in December and then hitting a man who tied to intervene with a metal pipe.
District Judge Michael Moses set sentencing on the theft charge for Aug. 18. Duncan remains in custody.
