A 22-year-old man pleaded guilty in court Friday to his third domestic assault charge in three years.

Stevan Michael Fiske appeared before Judge Ingrid Gustafson and pleaded guilty to a felony charge of partner or family member assault for attacking his girlfriend on Nov. 22.

Police responded to a report of a woman being harassed at the Target store on Central Avenue. The victim told officers that she and her boyfriend had gotten into an argument and that he punched her and chased her into the women’s bathroom before he ran away.

Fiske’s abuse has been going on for months, she told police. She said Fiske had hit her so hard in the face before that her left eye swelled shut, and that her face was still numb from that injury, an affidavit said.

Court records show Fiske was convicted of partner or family member assault in 2012 and 2011.

He is scheduled to be sentenced by District Judge G. Todd Baugh on June 30.
