A 28-year-old man is facing charges after his arrest in connection with a DUI crash Saturday.

Andre Xavier Young appeared in Yellowstone County Justice Court on Monday on three counts of felony criminal endangerment, a misdemeanor count of aggravated DUI and a misdemeanor count of driving without insurance.

Charging documents say Billings police responded Saturday to a two-vehicle crash in the area of Lewis Avenue and 15th Street West.

Police investigators determined Young had been driving a silver pickup with two passengers when he turned left in front of a car, causing a crash, according to prosecutors.

Responders took the driver of the car to a Billings hospital for treatment of injuries, court records state.

Young appeared intoxicated, the documents state, and a breath test showed he had a blood alcohol content of 0.215, which is almost triple the legal driving limit of 0.08.

Judge David A. Carter set Young’s bond at $1,500, ordered him to undergo 24/7 sobriety monitoring and to appear in District Court on April 8.
