Billings police arrested two suspects Friday morning in connection to the June beating of a doctor outside his West End home.
Billings police arrested Kiersten Wachholz, 20, and Lloyd Burgess, 21, at a home on Howard Ave. a little before 10 a.m., Lt. Casey Hafner confirmed Friday night.
They were booked on suspicion of misdemeanor assault at the Yellowstone County Detention Facility.
At about 2 a.m. on June 8, Dr. Jeff Meier, who lives on Brentwood Lane in the West End, went outside to investigate a noise, he told a reporter the day of the attack.
He said he spotted and tried to detain several young people he thought were trying to break into a trailer and shed on his property.
Meier chased them east a block and managed to catch one of the males, and two or three others returned.
The doctor said they attacked him on the lawn of a house on Wingate, hitting and kicking his face and head, and that one of the assailants choked him until he passed out.
Meier was left with a broken nose, a black eye, a damaged front tooth and cuts and scrapes.
