Robert Alan Thompson, a Billings teen suspected of killing his great-grandmother in July, was booked in the Yellowstone County Detention Facility on Friday.
He is being held on suspicion of deliberate homicide and his bond is set at $250,000.
Thompson, 19, is suspected of beating and stabbing his great-grandmother, 77-year-old Shirley Lawrence, to death at her home on the South Side on July 19.
Thompson then fled to Denver, where he was arrested the next day.
During a court hearing there, he refused to willingly return to Billings with local authorities.
Thompson appeared Monday in a Denver courtroom where he was served with a Montana governor's warrant, allowing authorities to bring him back to Montana for prosecution, according to Yellowstone County Attorney Scott Twito.
