A Billings woman admitted Tuesday to biting a city police officer and attacking a county detention officer.

Amber Leigh Guy, 22, appeared before Yellowstone County District Judge Russell Fagg and pleaded guilty to felony charges of assault on a peace or judicial officer and assault on a peace officer.

Guy also admitted to misdemeanor charges of obstruction and resisting arrest.

Fagg scheduled a sentencing hearing on Dec. 10.

Guy was arrested Feb. 9 after officers were called to St. Vincent Healthcare at about 7 a.m. for a woman causing problems and yelling in the lobby.

Guy was detained and handcuffed by hospital security officers, then began to struggle with the officers as city police officers arrived.

Guy bit one of the police officers during a struggle, and another officer used a Taser to subdue her.

At the county jail, Guy attacked a detention officer by grabbing her around the neck before she was restrained.
