An 18-year-old driver was arrested early Monday after a crash on Zimmerman Trail.

Trent Preson Lee Skaggs-Walker is being held at the county jail on suspicion of two counts of felony criminal endangerment, driving while under the influence, driving with a revoked or suspended license, possession of paraphernalia and possession of intoxicating substances.

Zimmerman Trail was closed for two hours early Monday after Skaggs-Walker lost control of a passenger car and rolled it, injuring one of his two passengers.

Police responded to the accident at 2:14 a.m. about 500 feet from the top of the road. According to police Lt. David Cardillo, the car was going south, when the driver lost control. The car hit the right embankment, flipped on its roof and slid for about 200 feet, Cardillo said in a news release.

A rear-seat passenger suffered minor injuries and was taken to Billings Clinic. The other passenger, a 19-year-old woman, was not injured.

Both passengers face charges of being minors in possession of alcohol.
