The Downtown Billings Alliance Public Art Committee is looking for professional artist submissions of outdoor sculptures to be temporarily installed under SkyPoint.

According to a press release, the DBA received funding from Big Sky Economic Development's Space 2 Place grant program to install a sculpture, the second under SkyPoint. The DBA will match the grant award funds for a third sculpture and will seek further financial support for the ongoing program, with the goal of displaying sculptures in all four corners of the intersection. The sculptures will be rotated annually.

The DBA offers a stipend for selected artists to showcase their work as available for sale at the location for 12 months.

Artists may submit multiple works. Apply for the SkyPoint Sculpture Program by downloading the application from the DBA website, downtownbillings.com, and submitting it along with digital images of the sculpture. Applications are due by noon on Monday, June 18. Artists will be chosen by June 29, 2018. The sculptures will be officially unveiled during ArtWalk on Friday, Aug. 3.
