School District 2 will host an information meeting at 6 p.m. on Thursday to discuss Common Core curriculum and answer questions from the community about the initiative.

The meeting will be in the board room at Lincoln Center and in attendance will be Dennis Parman from the state Office of Public Instruction.

SD2 adopted Common Core two years ago and fully implemented the standards last year. Thursday night's meeting is one of several the district has held over the last two years to raise awareness about Common Core implementation.
