A rally celebrating school choice is being hosted by the Montana Family Foundation on Thursday.

“School Choice: What is it? Why do we need it? How do we get it?” will be at 5:30 p.m. at the Billings Hotel and Convention Center, 1223 Mullowney Lane.

The rally is one of 5,500 independently planned events taking place during National School Choice Week 2014.

Organizers include The Friedman Foundation, Ace Scholarships and EducateMeMontana.

The Montana Family Foundation is a nonprofit research and education organization dedicated to supporting, protecting and strengthening Montana families.
