The five finalists for School District 2's superintendent job have received their interview times and will begin meeting with the board Monday night.
All interviews will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will be open to the public and take place in the board room at the Lincoln Center. Each interview also will be broadcast on community access Channel 7 and will be streamed the following day on the school district's website.
David Gray, assistant superintendent of Battle Ground Public Schools in Battle Ground, Wash., will interview first Monday night.
He'll be followed Tuesday night by Jim Nygaard, superintendent of Cordova Public Schools in Cordova, Alaska.
On Wednesday, Douglas Reisig, superintendent of Hell Gate Elementary School District in Missoula, will interview.
Following Reisig will be Joseph Farnsworth on Thursday night. Farnsworth is currently human resources director for the Queen Creek Unified School District outside Mesa, Ariz.
Finishing out the week will be Terry Bouck, superintendent of the Peninsula School District in Gig Harbor, Wash. Bouck will interview with the board Friday night.
Trustees hope to hire the new superintendent by May 17.
