Voting is open for the annual War of the Walls mural competition at MasterLube locations in Billings and in Laurel.

Each year, a student from each Billings and Laurel high school is chosen to paint a mural on a MasterLube store, and the favorite is decided by public vote via MasterLube's Facebook page at www.facebook.com/masterlube.

Voting will close on May 9 and the winner will be announced on May 10.

The painting competition coincides with the annual Grad Day fundraising event for the high school's all-night, drug and alcohol-free graduation celebrations.

This year's fundraiser will be from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on May 11.

The Heights location will raise money for Skyview; downtown for Central; Grand Avenue for Senior High; King Avenue for West High and the Laurel store for Laurel High School.

All money spent on oil changes that day will go toward that school's graduation party fund. Students also hold a barbecue and car wash and accept roadside donations.

For more information or to donate to these special celebrations, contact Debbie Meyer at 655-9661 or debbiemeyer3@msn.com

Another fundraiser for the party is ongoing at Tarantino's Pizzeria, from now through graduation week.

Tarantino's, at 1102 Grand Ave., will donate a portion of sales to the parties, with Monday designated for Senior High, Tuesday for West High and Wednesday for Skyview.
