Five children who were the subject of a missing and endangered person advisory have been found safe.

A bulletin Thursday evening said that the children, whose ages ranged from 3 to 11, were taken while on visitation with their non-custodial mother, Tanisha Felicia Medicine Horse.

That notice was rescinded at 12:20 p.m. Friday. Medicine Horse had taken the children to a family friend's house, according to Billings police. She contacted Child and Family Services after hearing about the missing person notice.

The children are now in safe custody, police said.
