Former President George W. Bush will be the keynote speaker at a May fundraiser for a faith-based Billings ministry.

Bush will speak in Billings at the Montana Missions Banquet on May 11, a fundraiser for Provision International, which ministers to the poor in a number of countries around the world. Tickets are $250 each and can be purchased at, and there is room for 2,500 people. The dinner will take place at the Expo Center at MetraPark.

The evening will include a dinner, a silent auction and musical entertainment, in addition to the talk by Bush.

Provision International focuses on such tasks as feeding the hungry, clothing the poor, building shelter, sending medical supplies and leading mission trips. The countries where the international ministry works include the Czech Republic, El Salvador, Kenya, Moldova, Slovakia, South Korea and the Ukraine.
