Another hot and sunny day is expected in Billings Tuesday, but relief is on the way. The National Weather Service predicts that cooler temperatures and the possibility of rain and thunderstorms are expected to head to the Yellowstone Valley on Wednesday. 

Tuesday's high will reach 92. A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms is expected after 3 p.m. and a southwest wind 6 to 8 mph is likely. 

Lows will drop to 62 overnight as the chance for thunderstorms and showers increases slightly to 30 percent. A west breeze of 7 to 9 mph is expected.

Expect temperatures not to break out of the mid 80s on Wednesday. Partly sunny skies and southwest winds 6 to 9 mph are likely. The chance for showers and thunderstorms will be 30 percent for most of the day. 

A chance of showers will continue into Wednesday night as skies become mostly cloudy and lows drop to near 60. A west wind near 7 mph is expected.
