Billings residents who enjoyed a rare few days of cooler temperatures will have to wait a while before they get more. The mercury is expected to rise near 90 Thursday and will stay there until Tuesday at the earliest.
The National Weather Service expects patchy fog before 9 a.m. Wednesday. A 20 percent chance of showers or thunderstorms will linger for the rest of the day. Skies will be mostly sunny and highs will reach the mid 80s.
Skies will be partly cloudy Wednesday night. Lows will fall to 62 and a southeast wind will blow at 8 mph.
Highs will reach the upper 80s Thursday. Skies will be partly sunny, but a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms is expected.
The 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms will continue until midnight Thursday. Skies will be partly cloudy and lows will drop to 61. A southeast wind of 7 mph will shift to the southwest after midnight.
